LM80 is the luminous flux maintenance rate (LED life) standard, which mainly tests the maintenance rate of luminous flux output, that is, the life test of LED waterproof light source. Note: Luminous flux refers to the LED waterproof light energy radiated from the light source surface that can be perceived by human vision, and its calculation unit is lumen (lm).The test data of LM-80 is used as the reference data of the luminous flux of the finished light source to calculate the luminous flux maintenance rate and chromaticity maintenance rate of the finished LED waterproof light.
LM80 test process:
First, install the light bead on the small integrating ball and measure the initial lumen value.
The temperature shall be monitored with thermal coupling wire, which shall not exceed 25 ± 1.2 ℃.
Then put it into the aging equipment for testing. At least one of the two temperatures of 55 ℃ and 85 ℃ should be measured. In addition, the manufacturer should provide a temperature, that is, at least two temperatures should be included.
After several hours of aging test, measure the lumen value of the LED waterproof light bead at this time and calculate the lumen maintenance rate of the LED waterproof light bead.
